Located along a rocky outcropping along the Marina Piccola with the backdrop of the Faraglioni, La Scolio is a Capri institution of blissful summertime preening and showy lunches. It's divided between an interior dining room, elevated veranda and two terraces that all face the sea. A casual style of rattan bistro chairs and dressier clothed tables dominates with thatch and canvas roofline as well as outdoor terrace under colorful umbrellas that line its perimeter. Surrounded by water on all sides, the club features a series of rocky beaches with lounger service and boat mooring available.
The Food
A mostly Caprese menu with Mediterranean-inspired recipes includes appetizers of seasonal salads, seafood carpaccio and homemade pastas that are followed by more intricate slow-cooked meats and grilled seafood that’s a house specialty.

Open for lunch from April through October, La Scoglio also opens for dinner from June through August.
